At Custom Patch Hats we look at our product quality as a point of pride. Over the years we’ve developed a process to check every item, clean it up, and pack it safely in order to reach you in the best condition possible. You trust us to deliver your custom hats to you right the first time, and we have a whole team of people who ensure that.
Our Custom Hat Quality Control Process
Once our skilled production team has completed your order they drop it off at the Quality Control (QC) department to be inspected. We don’t just spot check, but every hat goes through the hands of a QC clerk who has been trained to identify any issue related to the construction of a custom patch hat. If our team identifies any damage, stains, color discrepancies, or crooked patches we perform what we call a “kickback” to get it remedied ASAP. Most of the time you won’t even know we had to fix anything, but if there is any sort of delay to a part of your order, you will be notified immediately and provided with options to make up for said delay.
We take the application of all custom decorations seriously, so much so that we’ve developed our own placement guides and measurement standards to make a consistent product you’d swear was put together by a machine. Our tolerance for differences from one patch hat to another is in mere millimeters and hard to recognize with the naked eye. If anything isn’t up to your standard please let us know, and we’ll do what we can to make it right.
Final Hat Cleaning
After hats have passed their inspection, they are put through a final thorough cleaning by our team of Shipping Clerks to remove any lint, threads, or wrinkles that may have been produced during the production process. Once your custom hats are fully cleaned we seal them in bags in order to have them looking fresh straight out of the box.
Custom Packing for Custom Hats
Finally, all the hats are organized into one of our snazzy boxes, given a roll of our fancy bear tape, and slapped with a shipping label that’s got your name on it. You’ll be notified as soon as the label is created that your package will be en route shortly and if you notice something amiss we’re available to ensure a smooth delivery process as well.
